Book Review – Realm of Kings: Flaming Deception

Fantasy Novels have their own way of indulging us in their worlds but it lies in the hands of the Authors who write them. Often, the authors struggle with World-building, either they are too descriptive or too vague for the readers to understand where the story is going and what to expect out of the novel. (This is from my limited reading of Fantasy novels both good and bad). Realm of Kings: Flaming Deception by Dustin Fisher is the first in the series of books and I’m thankful to Booktasters for providing me an opportunity to read this Indie book.

Book Review – Lost Boy

Thrillers are one of those fascinating Genres which always keep you hooked, be it a Murder mystery or others. I haven’t had read much of YA Thrillers, most importantly YA thriller books with Supernatural elements attached to them. So, when I came across this book on Booktasters, I immediately grabbed to read it.

DCAMU: Movie – 5 | Batman and Robin Face-off

Batman Vs Robin (2015) is the fifth movie in the DC Animated Movie Universe, which is based on Batman: Court of Owls story arc and this is the sequel to Son of Batman (2014). The story starts with Damian Wayne still adjusting to the ways of Batman’s “Not Killing” rule and there is a lot of tension between them especially the trust factor which plays a major part in the entire story.

DCAMU: Movie – 4 | Welcome to Atlantis

We are in the fourth movie in the Series and this DC Animated Movie Universe (DCAMU) is based on the New 52 Comics which was a revamp and relaunch of DC Heroes and Villains with a new Origin story. The New 52 Series didn’t get the response the company expected, so they revamped the Character’s origin story again with the DC Rebirth event.

Book Review: Infinity Shift

Science Fiction is one of the Genres with which I’m always in awe. Although I haven’t read much of Sci-Fi books I kinda know the pattern of stories and the world they build. The Sci-fi stories are mostly set up in the future, they are dystopian mostly, one power control freak who is either a human or an AI, someone is raised to the occasion which questions or threatens the authority. These are mostly how Sci-fi books are designed but What I really love about these is the way the authors somehow foresee the future, they predict technologies that are fascinating.

Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam – My thoughts

Directed by Prabu Jeyaram where the director tries to give his take on tweaking reservation and that’s the second half of the story. Maybe the Director should have thought let’s try out talking about every hot topic and see how people react, then let’s see how it goes?

DCAMU: Movie – 3 | Son of Batman

Son of Batman animated movie is based on the Batman and Son (2006) storyline written by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert. I haven’t read this Comic but it was interesting to see “The World’s famous Detective” didn’t know that he had a 10-year-old son (approx.). I’m not sure whether it was a mistake or Ra’s Al Ghul and Talia Al Ghul were good at keeping secrets from Batman?

DCAMU: Movie – 2 | The heroes band together

In the second post of this series we talk about the Justice League: War animated movie which is based on Justice League: Origin in the New 52 event. You can read about the first movie of this series here. When I read this Comic in June 2017 little did I know that this is going to be the base for Zack Snyder’s Justice League and also for badly chopped Joss Whedon’s version.
