October in a Glance
I am one of those persons who don’t write about the happenings of the month and share it with my readers, but October was pretty different and I was really excited all over the month. I had so many things to do and I had some interesting personal goals to achieve. Fortunately, I completed all of them. Hence, this blog post.
I’ve been obsessing over doing the Inktober for the last two years but somehow I couldn’t get the courage to draw (Read sketch). From my school days I’ve been drawing and I was very poor at that, still I want to try my hands on doing that. Somehow I developed courage to do Inktober this year. You can find my sketches on my Instagram page and I would gladly take criticisms if you have any.
Apart from this I am also doing 100 Days 100 songs challenge on my Instagram stories. I am usually behind the schedule but I’m managing not to miss even a day. By the time this post is out I am 5 days behind but I’ll catch up. I started doing this when there were only 100 Days left for the year to get over, hope, you might like some of the songs I share. A word of warning the songs I share are Tamil Movie songs.
On Twitter I did a 30 days songs challenge especially for Tamil songs. Each day there is a prompt and one must share the song based on that prompt. I think I did my best again I was little behind but I posted songs at least once in a week or 10 days. So, I completed that challenge also on time.
Books I read:
I was supposed to have completed 3 books but I could read only two. First book I completed was Ascent of Love by Rooparshi which I received as a Review copy, the book was too cheesy and boolywoodish for my taste.
The Second book was The Judas Window by Carter Dickson, which was the Book of the Month for one of the book clubs I am part of in Chennai, which I really loved.
Other Updates:
If you are a regular follower of my blog you must have read my New Year Resolution post. I never take resolutions but this year, I wanted to be more productive and be more organised. I did manage to be a little organised so far but I’m sure there is a room for lots of improvements. So, apart from writing the Bullet Journal, I’m also writing a Journal. Lately, I have been going through a lot of anger issues and I am hoping Journal writing will help me work on that. *Fingers crossed*
I also have a Podcast, which I started last year. This year I wanted to start a series but things didn’t go the way as I planned. I was too busy with work related travel and many other things happened. I am planning to revive that atleast this month. I’ve released just 4 episodes and got a very good traction. If I keep adding more episodes consistently I believe I might have a good number of listeners. Hope, to give good content. You can listen to my Podcast in any of the platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher or wherever you get them. All you have to search for is Chennaikaaran Tamil Podcast.
That’s all from me for this post, hope I keep this tradition of posting my months in review based on the feedback I receive. Wish me luck for my Podcast and more blog posts. So, how was your October? Do, share that in comments would like to know your previous month.
Ciao!!!

Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.
Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours–
but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
