Kotha Jeevithalu is the Telugu remake of Puthiya Vaarpugal which was first produced by Bharathiraja and Bagyaraj made his debut as a Lead actor. Kotha Jeevithalu also marks Bharathiraja’s Telugu debut along with Suhasini’s as well.

Pongi Porale Andalenno seems to be specifically composed for a Telugu album and the setup made me assume this has replaced Vaan Megangale. This song is beautiful and if you are a long-time Illayaraja fan in the first attempt itself you’ll find it’s his song. Do give it a listen and it might remind you of some other Tamil song as well, do tell me which one it is. 🙂
