Echoes of the Maestro – Song 59 – Maamanukku Mylaporeu thaan

Maamanukku Mylaporu thaan is a fun song and through this song, I got to know some of the areas in Chennai like Mylapore, Tambaram, Avadi, Mannadi, etc., With Malaysia Vasudevan’s mimicry voices this got even more enjoyable.

Rajnikanth didn’t take any remuneration for this movie due to the losses producers faced because of the Sri Raghavendra movie. This was not the first time Rajnikanth did this and he has done this numerous other times as well.

Echoes of the Maestro – Song 60 – VUzhaipaali Illadha

I especially chose this song because it was one of my favorites when I was a kid. Whenever this song gets played on TV or Radio I used to dance like Rajni it seems and it still is one of my favourites. Vaali brilliantly laces the song with the typical Rajni message but also does justice to the title and the Coolies. Mano simply elevates the song up a notch.
