If an iconic film can inspire many other film Industries in the country back in the late 70’s it is none other than Don (1978) starring Amitabh Bachan. Yugandhar is the official Telugu remake of Don starring legendary N.T.Rama Rao and this is the only film Illayaraja got to collaborate with him.

If you’ve heard of My Name is Billa from the Tamil movie this is the Telugu equivalent. Many of us Tamils might not have heard of this song (Or is it just me?) but it was pretty popular among the Telugu audiences back then, and it’s NTR. Added Bonus you get to listen to our beloved SPB mouth the Intro song of sorts for NTR. Oh! I’m really digging this song, at least I listened to it a couple of times now.
