Echoes of the Maestro – Song 15 – Kaalai Paniyil Aadum

Gayathri was based on a Novel by Writer Sujatha and If I’m not wrong this must be from Sujatha’s famous detective series. This was the second time Illayaraj collaborated with Sujatha for this song.

Somehow, this song sounds familiar but I don’t remember coming across it. I think that’s the case with most of Illayaraja songs. Do give it a listen.

“Nee Irukkum” is a recent Tamil song composed by Illayaraja, who also penned the lyrics for the movie Jama. I believe this song may have slipped under the radar for many, so I wanted to bring it to everyone’s attention.
