Echoes of the Maestro

Echoes of the Maestro – Song 104 – Vey Vey

Vey Vey is one of those few Telugu songs Kamal has sung; in fact, this is the first Telugu film song he rendered. Oka Radha Iddaru Krishnulu has an interesting coincidence because it premiered alongside Rakshashudu, which the same director again directed. Interestingly, both these films were adapted from a novel written by prolific Telugu writer Yendamuri Veerendranath. Oka Radha Iddaru Krishnulu was dubbed in Tamil as Hare Radha Hare Krishna. This film and this song have so much significance, and I’m glad I got to listen to them.
