Vyaamoham is the Malayalam musical debut of the Maestro and this movie is a remake of a 1962 Tamil Movie Policekaaran Magal directed by legendary C.V.Sridhar.

Neeyo Njano is a mellifluous melody rendered by P. Jayachandran and S. Janaki. When I listened to this song I was reminded of one more song that Illayaraja sang for his elder son Karthik Raja for Ullasam.

Looks like Karthik Raja took inspiration from this song. The starting pallavi of this immediately reminded me of Yaaro Yaar yaaro from Ullasam (I’ll add that song also so that you can check the inspiration clearly).
