Like many Illayaraja songs, I have only heard them but never knew the movie the song in place, or the history. When I was looking for my next song I was curious about this Keeravani song which I have heard numerous times but never watched the film or the visuals. When I dug a little I realized it was originally a Telugu song and when the film was dubbed the songs were dubbed too. As I have listened to only the Tamil version (Have also added along), now listening to the Original Telugu song it carries the same weight as in Tamil and a little more flamboyance from Legend SPB.

For people like me, the Original Telugu movie is Anveshana directed by Vamsy who Introduced Bhanupriya to Telugu cinema and is one of the regular collaborators with Illayaraja. This movie was dubbed as Paadum Paravaigal in Tamil and it gained a cult status among Telugu audiences.
