While most of us know Illayaraja has composed a lot in Tamil but has also composed for other Indian languages as well. I have even featured some of the songs from Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. A thought occurred why not explore the songs from these languages as well, so here’s the first step at that. People often say music doesn’t have a language and the songs going to get featured will let you get into that emotion.

Dooram Arike is the second direct Malayalam composition of Raaja and he used familiar voices of Malayalam and Tamil for all the songs. Maan kidaave Nin Nenchum even though the setup of the song seems grim the music doesn’t and is kinda soul stirring if you ask me. Do give it a listen 🙂
