We are almost at the cusp of reaching the end of Rajni – Illayaraja combo songs and I believe apart from Yajamaan and Veera I covered most of the films with a mix of popular and not-so-popular songs from this combo. However, shouldn’t we end with some bangers, especially Rajni movies, amma songs are inseparable so it is going to be 3 of my favorite Amma songs from Rajnikanth films composed by Illayaraja and we will transition.

Amma Amma is the third song being featured in this series from Uzhaipaali this song appears at a very interesting point in the film and there are two versions of this song one by SPB and the female version by Sunanda. Such a haunting song in the way it was sung.
