Siva directed by Ameerjan is one of the big-budget movies from the Director. Unlike other movies back then this movie had Rajni and Raguvaran playing friends and foes. I loved this film when I was a kid and again this is another banger of an album from Illayaraja for Thalaivar. While many might have listened to this song, it didn’t come across as a Rajni song and only now I realised it’s from Siva.

Ameerjan started his Film Career as a protege to K. Balachandar. He got critical acclaim in his directional debut Poovilanga which brought Actors Murali and Kuyili to the Tamil Film Industry.
