Okay, I especially chose this song because it was one of my favorites when I was a kid. Whenever this song gets played on TV or Radio I used to dance like Rajni it seems and it still is one of my favourites. Vaali brilliantly laces the song with the typical Rajni message but also does justice to the title and the Coolies. Mano simply elevates the song up a notch.

You know Uzhaipaali marked the return of the legendary Vijaya Vauhini studios from 20 years of hibernation. Interestingly, Rajni was given a Red card from the Distributors Association due to some qualms. He then released the movie directly in Theaters through his Ramana Distribution company. The reservation was Houseful for the first 15 Days and it had a non-stop 116-day run in Chennai Albert and Abirami Theaters and a 150-day run in Madurai Cinepriya.
